Cambridge, CB2 3NH
Alternatively, e-mail the office (firstname.lastname@example.org) including your name, house number and postcode and the words: “I am a UK tax payer and I wish that any gift of money that I make, or have made since 6th April 2000, to CUCA be treated as a Gift Aid Donation. I understand that the amount of tax reclaimed on my donations to all charities for any financial year must not exceed the amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax that I pay in that financial year.”
Tax efficient giving from the US
Donations can be made from the USA, avoiding tax, by contacting ‘Cambridge in America’ and specifying that you wish to support ‘Fisher House CUCA’. Cambridge in America handles gifts from North American friends to all parts of the university. It ensures gifts are recognised by the IRS for tax purposes. It is essential to specify that your gift is for Fisher House, CUCA (otherwise it would be given to the university’s general funds).
