Gift Aid Declaration

If you are a UK taxpayer and complete a Gift Aid declaration, your gift will be increased by 25p for every £1 given. For example, a gift of £100 becomes £125; and £5,000 becomes £6,250. Higher-rate taxpayers can also reclaim the difference between basic and higher rate tax on donations.

Alternatively, please email CUCA at admin@fisherhouse.org.uk with your name, house number and postcode and the words:
I am a UK taxpayer and I wish that any gift of money that I make, or have made since 6 April 2000, to Cambridge University Catholic Chaplaincy CIO (CUCA CIO) be treated as a Gift Aid Donation. I understand that the amount of tax reclaimed on my donations to all charities for any financial year must not exceed the amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax that I pay in that financial year.
Tax-efficient giving from the United States of America​

Tax-efficient donations can be made from the United States of America by contacting Cambridge in America and specifying that you wish to support 'Fisher House CUCA'.

Cambridge in America handles gifts from North American friends to all parts of the University of Cambridge; it ensures that gifts are recognised by the Inland Revenue Service for tax purposes.
It is essential to specify that your gift is for Fisher House CUCA - otherwise your gift will be given to the University's general fund.
Donate shares​
Gifts of shares, securities or other property is a very tax-efficient way of benefitting Fisher House. Relief will be given to the donor for the full value of the share or securities in addition to any existing capital gains tax relief.

Legacies and bequests​
