LANGHAM MEMORIAL FUND
Following the outpouring of love and gratitude for Monsignor Mark Langham, we, the Cambridge University Catholic Association, would like to establish a memorial fund to honour his service as Chaplain at Fisher House.
In the first instance, we plan to commission a professional portrait of Fr Mark to accompany our other portraits of former Chaplains (at an estimated cost of £7,000-£8,000). In addition, we wish to create a Langham Memorial Fund, whose income may be used to support Fisher House, with a preference for Chapel music, a strong interest of Fr Mark’s. Our objective is a fund of £90,000.

As Fr Mark was himself a painter, Professor Eamon Duffy and I discussed with him last year the choice of artist for his portrait in the firm hope that he would be able to sit for the portrait and see it in situ. Sadly, this was not to be. We hope all members of Fisher House, past and present, will want to be part of this. All contributions, however modest, are welcome.

You can donate online to our appeal through the Charities Aid Foundation here. Alternatively, you may use any of the usual donation methods listed here, but please make sure to email us stating that you wish the donation to be put towards the Mgr Mark Langham Memorial Appeal.
